Simrad Halo Radar Install
Mandurah Marine Electrical is proud to install and commission the first Halo® radar system in Australia on board Department of Parks & Wildlife’s 24m Research vessel bound for Broome Western Australia.
COMMISSION February 2016
Simon Noble from Mandurah Marine Electrical says of the project: “This was a tremendous opportunity to commission pulse compression technology on such a large Government project." After sea trials with the new radar he reports; "Target separation within the congested Port of Fremantle was exceptional even without the added option of beam sharpening."
Halo®'s technology is a huge advancement in radar for commercial vessels and an essential component for navigational awareness.
